SPORTYFIA Privacy Policy

This Policy is issued by SPORTYFIA LLP, LLPIN ACU-4876, having its registered office at Plot No. 3, Virat Nagar, Kanchan Bagh, Hyderabad, Telangana – 500079, India.

For the purposes of the DPDP Act, SPORTYFIA acts as a Data Fiduciary.

SPORTYFIA operates strictly as a technology intermediary enabling booking transactions between Users and independent third-party venue providers ("Venue Partners").

• Does not own or operate venues
• Does not supervise sporting activities
• Does not control on-ground safety
• Does not assume liability for venue operations

Data shared with Venue Partners is strictly limited to booking fulfillment.

Nothing herein creates a partnership, agency, employment, or joint venture relationship. This preserves safe-harbor positioning under Indian intermediary law.

Personal Data is processed based on:

1. Explicit consent
2. Contractual necessity
3. Legal compliance
4. Legitimate business interests including fraud prevention, system integrity, and dispute resolution

Consent is obtained via mandatory opt-in mechanisms. Users may withdraw consent; service access may be restricted thereafter.

The Platform permits individuals under 18.

Where a minor registers:

• Lawful guardian consent is required.
• Guardian represents and warrants authorization.
• SPORTYFIA reserves verification rights.
• Accounts may be suspended without liability if consent is invalid.

SPORTYFIA does not engage in targeted advertising or profiling of minors.

Personal Data is processed solely for:

• Account authentication
• Booking facilitation
• Payment processing
• Fraud detection
• Security monitoring
• Customer support
• Legal compliance
• Service updates and marketing (subject to consent)

No unrelated processing occurs without additional lawful basis.

Data may be disclosed to:

• Venue Partners (booking-specific only)
• Razorpay (payment processing)
• Infrastructure providers
• Analytics providers
• Regulators when legally required

SPORTYFIA does not sell Personal Data. Disclosure follows data minimization principles.

Data is retained:

• While account remains active
• As required by tax and audit law
• For dispute resolution

Upon lawful deletion request, data is erased or anonymized unless legally required to retain.

SPORTYFIA employs commercially reasonable safeguards including:

• Encrypted communications (SSL/TLS)
• Secure cloud infrastructure
• Role-based access controls
• Monitoring and logging

Absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Users acknowledge inherent internet risk.

In the event of a breach:

• SPORTYFIA shall take reasonable mitigation measures
• Notify authorities where required
• Inform affected users as mandated

SPORTYFIA is not liable for breaches caused by force majeure, sophisticated cyberattacks, or third-party infrastructure failure beyond reasonable control.

Users may:

• Access their data
• Request correction
• Request deletion
• Withdraw consent
• Submit grievance

Requests may be refused where legally restricted, repetitive, or abusive.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

SPORTYFIA shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss of profits
• Third-party misuse
• Venue Partner negligence
• System downtime
• Cyber incidents beyond reasonable control

Total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the User in the preceding six (6) months.

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless SPORTYFIA, its partners, officers, and affiliates against claims arising from:

• False information
• Unauthorized account sharing
• Misuse of the Platform
• Violation of applicable law

This Policy is governed by Indian law. Courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

SPORTYFIA reserves the right to mandate arbitration under its Terms & Conditions.
